One Person, Every Step of Every Project.
A banner for a staged production of Doctor Faustus became my first real design project. The response to that work sparked a journey that grew from theatre productions to corporate brands — evolving into over eleven years of refining the craft.
When AI started designing well enough to worry me, I didn't panic — I looked for the one thing it couldn't replace. The answer was interface and experience: design that only works when one person truly understands another. I moved my focus there completely, and never looked back.
HVAC companies. Landscapers. Pool techs. I kept seeing the same thing — good businesses, genuinely capable, undersold by websites that didn't reflect the trust they'd already earned, sometimes handed off to designers who never took the time to understand them. I couldn't unsee it. These owners deserved a site that showed their true potential and credibility — so I decided to build that, personally, one business at a time.
No agency. No handoffs. Eleven years later, that's still exactly how I work.
Organizing a school is like organizing a design canvas — structure, clarity, balance, consistency. Design is the art of organizing visual elements. Leadership is the art of organizing human potential.
